Terrible won't travel with princess again.The only positive about this cruise is I'm now sailing back to Los Angeles to fly home.

The food was ok,but the bar service was dreadful.I have never complained on a cruise ship but I found myself constantly complaining about the service.I had a drinks package but was being charged for drinks.When ordering a drink I had to wait atleast 20 min for the drinks to come. But the worst incident was my friend who I'm travelling with is type 1 diabetes,he was waiting at bar needing a drink only to be told by the barman he only pours beer,and use another bar.

Agreed that the Medallion method does tend to have too many bogus drink charges. Sounds like a misunderstanding at that bar. At least you liked the food. Yes, you should stick with P&O.

My wife and I sailed Discovery this past January. We had a similar experience with billing. My wife purchased the soda package but several times they billed us for her diet cokes. Four times we had to go to guest services to have the charges removed. They finally figured out the problem on day seven.

I'm going to guess that you were probably buying drinks that were not included in your package. This would explain why they're being charged. There's always a way to look at your drink package and see what drinks are included so that way one won't get charged with something that's not included in the package.

There is not much detail for so negative a review. Was on Discovery in Dec. Will be back on this Sat. Lovely ship and staff. Makes you wonder the reasons for this poor review.

I'm not here for a booze up. If I wanted to do that i would have stayed in England with cheap beer and I don't have to tip everyone like you do in America.
