Review summary

Many times sailing princess. We've done a couple in the last 12 months. We had been a little bit disappointed post-covid with a couple of the cruises. But whatever problems princess was having before they have straightened out. The food was on point, they were no longer understaffed, the service in the MDR was fantastic. Princess is back!

B520. Awesome mini sweet cabin in a great location. We prefer deck 9 or 10 if we can get it because then you can walk down to deck 7 where all the action is. But it probably wasn't bad that we got a little extra exercise on the stairs. Cabin Steward was incredible the room was clean always. We enjoyed the port side as you get to see land most of the way on the way south to mexico. We saw a bunch of whales heading into Cabo for a couple hours before we arrived.

Ship tip

Arrive early at the theater for the two major production shows. If you haven't seen them they're both excellent. But it fills up pretty quick we had four people and we went 30 minutes early and had to split up one time.

We did the sailboat excursion that lasted four and a half hours. It was absolutely incredible. The food was great the crew was wonderful. We saw a bunch of fish while we were snorkeling in a few whales on the way back

Mazatlan, Mexico

Had pretty low expectations of Mazatlan due to a previous visit. But we did the mini speed boat excursion with the El-Cid hotel visit. The whole thing was great. Super fun racing the speed boats around and the El Cid is in an excellent spot on the ocean and the hotel with all you can drink pool was fun

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

We did the Las Caletas excursion. We've already done it a couple times so obviously we really enjoy it. This time did not disappoint with great weather, a fun staff, and pretty good food. Was a little disappointed that they stopped making paella. But they said some people complained because they said it wasn't authentic Mexican dish. Whatever, I guess you can't make everybody happy :-)
