Embarkation

We were on the ship in 20 minutes. We arrived at 1030am. We waited a little for a porter to grab our bags. Once we were inside the terminal, the process was super easy. We were in the green lane.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We didn’t do any of the specialty restaurants this time around. My brother in law and wife did go to Sabatinis and Crown Grille and they loved it. Very few items that we didn’t like from the MDR and buffet. We really enjoyed our food experiences. The Ocean Terrace was our least favorite. A long wait for the food and the sushi was okay. Jesus and Mayra in the Juneau MDR were absolutely amazing. Great service and attention.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We loved the shows and the piazza activities. Enjoyed the jazz music at Take Five, the DJ and the band in the Piazza. We danced the night away and burned some calories from all the food we ate.

Entertainment

All the performers we encountered were amazing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I cannot say enough about the service. Some of the staff that we like to recognize: Juneau MDR Jesus & Mayra. Lionel the sommelier. Gregie our room steward.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Absolutely beautiful ship. The staff was constantly cleaning. The layout was easy for us. Ketchikan MDR was the only tricky one to get to. But honestly if you look at the ship map, it’s easy to figure out.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Love the large closet and storage. From photos i saw of the shower I thought it was going to be really small. It wasn’t as bad as I thought. The beds were so comfortable. The cabin was perfect for the 2 of us.

Ship tip

Skip ocean terrace. Plenty of other options that are great for food. Be patient with the elevators and take the stairs when possible. Don’t sweat the small stuff and enjoy your cruise.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

We did the helicopter glacier trek. What an experience!! We had plenty of time to explore the town after. We missed seeing wildlife. So next time we want to do a different excursion to see some wildlife.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Super easy to walk to town. Great spot to do your souvenir shopping. Less expensive than the other ports. Lumberjack show was a ton of fun. Went to the Fish House for lunch. All the food was delicious!

Seattle, Washington

Been here many times. Always enjoy the town.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

We were lucky to make it all the way to the glacier. There was a silence throughout the ship. Everyone was in awe of all the beauty we were witnessing. We had a port side cabin and were able to witness most of it from there. We grabbed some hot chocolate on deck 17 and walked around as well.

Victoria, British Columbia

Adorable town. We walked to the Fisherman’s wharf and took a water taxi to downtown. Next time we are visiting Seattle, we plan on taking the ferry over to Victoria and spend a couple of days there.

Skagway, Alaska

Such a charming port. We did the white pass train to the Yukon suspension bridge. What views!!

Disembarkation

Super easy. We had an 11:45am flight. We got off at 9am and still had plenty of time to get to our flight. We scheduled a spot saver at Sea-tac airport for 1030am and we skipped the security line.
