Review summary

This new Discovery Alaska Cruise was just ok to us from food to entertainment. We were expecting more. Some photographers are unprofessional that make people so short or imbalanced in the pictures.

We had a wonderful first cruise with Alaska and we’d like to recognize these professional, friendly, excellent managers, waiters, and room service person. Thanks so much for making us feel welcomed, comfortable, suitable and phenomenons. First, Mr. Carlos, manager; Apolinario (from Philippines), Mr. Fernando, Mr. Hendra (Indonesia), Aditya (India), Emelito (Philippines) Tetiana (UK) at Bistro Sur Là Mer and Crab Shack (the Salty Dog) Second, Mr. Uros & Alvin at Crown Grill. Third, Joe (Philippines) and all sushi staffs @ Ocean Terrace Seafood Bar. Fourth, Enrique (Mexico) & Iwayan (Indo) at Gigi’s pizzeria. Thanks all staffs at Juneau, Ketchikan, Sabatini’s Italian, Princess Live cafe, World Fresh Market, Swirls Ice cream bar, Princess Live cafe, etc. Last but not least, Mr. Dindo, our stateroom service. Thanks so much for cleaning, changing and making our stateroom clean & fresh everyday.

We couldn’t do much excursions since we only had 4 hours here. we could only do city sightseeing since we did not have enough time.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We are going on the same cruise next month and will look out for those folks you mentioned!!

I agree, cabin for four is too tight. Open the wallet and pay for two cabins if you want to bring your family. We’ve booked extra cabins every time we took our kids.

Glad that you enjoyed the service you were provided on the ship. I agree that the cabins are a bit tight for a family. For 2 it’s enough room. Probably if they took the desk out, it would feel a lot bigger. But I love the couch and balcony. Hope your next cruise is more family friendly. Maybe Disney offers a bigger cabin.

I did too. I didn't care for the cruise. My friends on the side loved it- ROYAL CARIBEAN.
