Review summary

Once and a lifetime cruise with breathtaking ports!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was organized and speedy. The staff were friendly and helped expedite the entire process.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was excellent overall. Our party did have a few poor experiences with small portions of food, as well as lesser quality at times. Plenty of options to choose from for each meal.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Plenty of activities throughout the entire day for all ages.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Overall excellent selection of entertainment throughout each day.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our party had all pleasant experiences with the staff around the ship. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a relaxing vacation. The only issue was the speed of service during certain meals, as well as delays with room service.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The ship was excellently maintained and had a beautiful design. I was a bit disappointed that this ship didn’t have an outside deck on the mid-levels that wrapped around the entire ship, as many other classes do.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent cabin that’s not a far walk from the elevators/stairs. This cabin included a couch, as well as an extended balcony. Our room steward Mervin was AMAZING!

Ship tip

When walking to a restaurant or lounge that’s in the front or the back of the ship, it usually helps to walk to those areas using decks 5, 6, & 7 and taking the stairs/elevators nearest to the area. There can sometimes be dead ends if you try to reach these areas from a different part of the ship.

Ports of call

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
Plan ahead to get up early. This was the most beautiful part of the entire cruise. You can start off on your balcony and go upstairs as the morning goes on. I found that the views got more beautiful as the morning progressed. The best places to take pictures are on the upper decks of the mid and rear of the ship. Beverages/coffee and snacks are provided for those who decide to watch from those upper decks.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
I 100% recommend to make the train your first priority for excursions. The views are absolutely stunning throughout the entire journey and it will be like something you’ve never experienced. If you have additional time, downtown Skagway has some amazing shops. It’s a beautiful little town!

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
Beautiful port in the capital city of Alaska. Plenty of shops and other walkable attractions. Plan ahead for excursions, many of which will pick you up and drop back off right near the ships.

Seattle, Washington

4 out of 5
Make sure to plan ahead when deciding how to get to the port. The port is outside of downtown and there are plenty of shuttles that will offer service there. Plan ahead when visiting downtown Seattle. The farmers/fish markets, as well as the piers are great places to visit. Be careful when venturing into downtown. There are some areas that are less desirable and contain higher numbers of displaced peoples.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
A very beautiful port that I wish we had more time in. It was Canada Day when we visited, so there were plenty of festivities around the city. There are various dining/shopping options around the port. Be aware that the ships park outside of downtown. It’s about 30 minutes to walk, but bus/shuttle options are also offered.

Ketchikan, Alaska

4 out of 5
Very pretty port that we caught on a extraordinarily warm day. Aside from the shops off the boat, there aren’t a ton of walkable excursions. Plan ahead if you’re looking for more than just shopping!

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very speedy and organized disembarkation process. All the staff onboard and off board well helpful.
