Wonderful I will be doing it again I found the staff over all very helpful I will recommend it to other people some have already booked ready to go

Good cruise and having friends with us made it even better. One thing Princess need to have is a lounge where we can go in the evening before dinner where there is quiet as all lounge areas have either music or live entertainers singing and on the most it's so loud.

Fabulous destinations that lived up to Princesses reputation, but the ship disappointed us on this occasion and marred our cruise. I know others will have a different experience but this was ours, on this occasion. We have written to Princess Cruises, no reply yet but am taking into account the holiday season.

Excellent cruise great service when you get the waiters attention, if you didn't drink alcohol they couldn't be bothered serving you.

22 day re positioning cruise from Japan to Sydney, there were a lot of sea days but there was plenty to do while on board.we had smooth weather for most of the trip, would be happy to do it again.

All in all a great cruise. I would definitely go on this ship again. Only negative was that the library had not been restocked after the Japanese cruising season but guess they would have done this in Sydney.

Excellent cruise, ship fantastic, ports of call interesting. Don’t think I can really fault anything regarding this cruise! Japanese Entertainment crew very amusing and interesting to talk to. Great choice of food at all venues. Weather wasn’t kind Typhoon LAN was around so very cloudy if not raining and the captain made the decision to bypass Toyama and head straight to Busan. Great decision, worked well and allowed us more time in Busan plus left the wind and high seas behind!,

Great way to visit Japan and just get a small taste of the culture. The shore trips were well organised and added to the overall enjoyment of the cruise.

Overall our cruise experience was nothing less than spectacular. It's been over 40 years since I left Japan and coming back home was nice. Would have love to have done more and unfortunately our cruise was cut short one day due to the typhoon but it provided us with another day in Yokohama and we made the best of it. We are set to head back to the southern tip of Japan via Taiwan in Feb 2019. Hopefully a few excursions could be added with the features i mentioned earlier. Going back to Okinawa where i was born is going to be exciting.

Except for service and wait staff - overall this was a below standard sailing especially food and entertainment aaaaaaaaasaassaaaasssssssaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa - why 150 characters - stupid

Fantastic ship, service food & crew. Medium size with many passengers but getting on and off was easily done without delays. Princess standard dining, Highly Recommend!

Great food. Great service. Staff don't push the sales 24/7. Destination choices​ were mostly excellent. Boat fitout is in great order and the bars are all exceptional and comfortable  

booked through travel agency & got an upgrade to Oceanview room which not bad after all.

Good:

- yummy horizon court food buffet

- dining hall food

- free room service

- comfortable bed & pillow

- friendly staffs

- well organized embark & disembark

Need Improvement:

- ship entertainment (i join none of it)

- more movies in tv plsss 

- too much chlorine in water (honestly we can taste it)

- expensive doctor consultation fee exclude medications (seriously USD90?!)

Conclusion,  we will back for sure. Thanks for the memories!!!

Entertainment could have been at better times and more of them.swimming pools 😳Toilets messy around the ship. Gym and the spa was good.

prices could have been cheaper. 

loved the ship ! it was a family holiday in [ mini suite] only complaint was cabin attendent !! very slack !! toilet had urine smell when we entered the cabin chip crumbs on balcony !! personal items left behind by past passenger in drawers under bed !! soooo not a nice welcome !! to cabin at a price of $6000 !!!! mmm dissapointing !! and my bed was broken so had to get that seen to !! so after all that was fixed we enjoyed the trip !! he was the worst attendent i had ever had !!

Great first experience. We really loked what first looked to be a boring type of holidays. Awesome Australia, great ship, skillfull musicians. Special thanks to the crew members Alexander and Olena from Ukraine who helped us a lot on board. Great Art Gallery leaded by Valery. Will recommend the cruise to all friends 

I enjoyed this ship - it was large but not hard to get around. Better than some of the smaller ones which can feel a little too small - you run out of things to discover. We rarely eat at buffet - prefer a la carte dining. Shows were really good! Loved Tassie!!! Overall a very enjoyable cruise!

Loved the Diamond! Got lost a few times but once we got the layout we were cool!! Everything was awesome from the service to the entertainment! Cant wait to sail on her again!

The cruise schedule was a great one but we encountered a lot of hiccups during the trip.  We missed a stop in Nha Trang due to some problems with the ship.  The captain was very apologetic and explained the situation. We also had a lot of complaints about tours where a lot a buses went to the same places at the same time (in Taiwan) and they had long crowded lines to see the places. I also love Princess Caesar's salad. When I ordered it the first time, it was not the usual delicious salad I was used to.  The second time I ordered it, it was even worst than the ones you get from the supermarket pre-made dressing. I was quite disappointed with the menu's too.  They had scallops two days in a row and the menu's were not really as good as they usually are.  Not very varied selections in the dining room.  We cannot say enough good things about the service from the staff,  They really go above and beyond; very patient and very accommodating.  The shows were mediocre and some of them we have already seem a few times from previous cruises.  In the Casino, I had a specific problem with a slot machine.  I called the slot attendant (I lost her name but she was from Zimbabwe)  and she was very helpful.  I asked her to watch me and explain why the machine was not paying amount that was posted as my winning.  I kept playing and it kept underpaying me (example:  won  $10 but only paid $2, etc.)  I suggested she call the supervisor and she did but he said there was nothing he could do and that new machines were coming.  A few other players were making comments that they lost a lot of money from the machine since it did not pay the right amount of the winnings.  I then suggested to the slot attendant to have the supervisor put a "NOT IN SERVICE" sign so that players would not be cheated of their money.  The Supervisor refused and they kept the machine open for players to play.  This type of actions should not be tolerated by management.

One trip & one issue changes our view of Princess.  We have been on several Princess trips and are members of the Captains Club.  Now we intend to vote with our pocket book and not use Princess or any of the Carnival lines.

In short an issue arose (with out credit card number) and the Diamond Princess staff failed to properly notify us, and then tried to make excuses and cover up the issue.  Finally a Supervisor called, admitted the problems was theirs, and wanted to end it by saying we are sorry.

My wife & I felt this was far to easy a way out for the service blunders that had occurred.  Princess wanted us to make an offer as to what it would take to  satisfy us.  My reply was that ball was in Princess court and we were not out to exploit the situation. 

From that point on we did not hear from Princess except to fill out their automated on-line review.

Sorry to say that one of the other non Carnival lines will now be used.
