A disappointing cruise

Sail Date: October 06, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Notice of Nagasaki port cancellation was sent a month before sailing without any reason. No refund or booking cancellation was allowed. No adjustment was made to the total charge. Disorganized in handling passengers passport. Ship held all passports and issued copies which cannot be used for any money exchange on shore. Overall service was poor.

Pros: Went to several port

Cons: the most interesting port is canceled

Recommends Diamond Princess? No.

Keelung (Taipei), Taiwan
Taipei trip is worth it.
Don't Miss: Downtown market in Keelung.
Nha Trang, Vietnam
The beach is beautiful and quiet.
Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam
If you don't mind the traffic and less than clean streets and markets
Don't Miss: The big covered market is really big and comprehensive.
Clean and efficient in all respect; a little expensive.
Don't Miss: Chinatown for temples and shopping
Shanghai, China
The bund is a must-see. Skip the silk factory
Don't Miss: The river front and the new financial center, clean and lively.
A typical tourist place like Hawaii.
Hong Kong
Really beautiful and vibrant.
Don't Miss: Peak tram and the harbor ride.
