Review summary

We found the Staff and Crew of the Crown to be extremely helpful and welcoming. The entertainment on this ship had more variety and more options than on any sailing we have had over the past two years (10 cruises). The Encore production show was outstanding as were the contract entertainers. The food was much better than on the Celebrity Cruise we took a month ago. The general ambiance was warm and inviting. Any time dinning was always available and the head men were excellent. Over-all the ship and the on-board experience rated a 5 +

Cabin was adequate size - very large closet space. The Cabin was clean. Showed a little wear. The bathroom shower was small.

Ship tip

We are not sure why we have read as many negative comments as we have about the Crown. We have taken two other cruises on competing lines in the past four months and the Crown exceeded both by quite a bit.

If you do not visit the falls (which we had done before) and some of the beautiful water, there is absolutely nothing else. Do not waste time on going down town - it is not an inviting or even safe place.

We were there on a Sunday. Everything was closed. We took a tour of the island and were disappointed - really not that much to see.
