A relaxing holiday in near-perfect weather. We took some beautiful sunrise photos from our balcony, one of which is attached.
Embarkation

Short queue, speedy service, on board almost before we knew it.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food in the main dining room was varied and of excellent quality - but, rather long waits between courses. We were on anytime dining and always agreed to share a table which we meant that we met a lot of interesting people so the time between the courses wasn’t wasted! One evening we wanted a quick meal so opted for the buffet restaurant, then wished we hadn’t. There were quite a few choices for main course, but very few accompanying vegetables. We chose the roast pork and there was a dish of apple sauce to go with it, but the only potatoes were mashed (which were somewhat lumpy). The vegetables were plain steamed cauliflower and some very over-cooked kale/spinach mix. No carrots, no green beans, no peas; in fact nothing that looked as if a chef had taken any trouble over it.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did not participate, although the pools looked well-kept. There is no rock-climbing wall on this ship!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The stage shows were excellent, especially “Magic to Do” and “Encore!” The comedian did two shows, one family orientated and the other a late adults only show - both were excellent. The magician was very amusing as well as being a talented magician. He also did two different shows (one in the theatre and a close-up show in one of the bars) and a masterclass where he explained how he did some of his tricks.
Children's Programs
We did not have any children in our party!
Service and Staff

All very friendly.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Keeping a ship the size of the Crown Princess well-maintained must be like painting the Forth Bridge - every day we passed someone painting something and on port days they were painting the outside of the ship!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Kept beautifully tidy by Malcolm. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped especially in the shower cubicle, although I have to say that the plastic curtain behaved itself and never annoyed me.
Ship tip
Share tables at dinner - you get to meet lots of new people.
Beautiful arriving there in the early morning on the last day. We did a disembarkation tour of Flamingo Park and the Everglades which passed the time may ore than adequately until our flight.
Trip to Balata botanical garden. Unfortunately Interrupted by a very heavy rain shower but we managed to shelter under a large canopy together with around 40-50 other tourists!
Our favourite island, partly due to the weather though mainly due to the excursion. We took a 4-wheel drive off-road Land Rover tour taking in the main sights and finishing on a very nice beach where we swam in the Caribbean for the first time.
