Review summary

This was our first cruise experience.  I have to say that cruising will become a regular vacation for us.  There was absolutely nothing better than this... get on the ship... get treated like royalty... everything is available to you 24 hours a day.. they feed you, spoil you, entertain you.. you relax and don't have to worry about anything till you disembark... Best Vacation EVER!!

there is as much or as little as you want to do on the ship.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
my my... the dancers and singers were amazing!.. the comedians as well.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
our Princess had a fun and safe time at the Princess Pelicans.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Eusebio and Enrique, the senior and junior waiters in late dining were spectacular!!! They really made our vacation extra special with their sweet and happy chatting, their impeccable professionalism, they absolutely spoiled us and took care of us, especially with our dietary needs... can not thank them enough!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
ship is well taken care of, and staff are constantly cleaning and maintaining... great!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
we were completely spoiled... being in a mini suite is the way to go... not to small and not to big, but great space for 2 adults and a child... everyone had space, and it was so neat and clean, just perfect!! waking up and sitting in the balcony with coffee and a good book is my ultimate fave!

Ship tip

The Crown Princess is a fantastic ship... there is so much to do, or nothing at all if you just want to relax. even though there were thousands of people on the cruise.. you never felt like you were in a crowd... many times you were in areas of the ship where you didn't see anyone..lol Great food!

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
did not spend any time here besides getting on and off the ship.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
this was a great port.. went to the malecon and walked forever, and ate at a GREAT outdoor restaurant under tents.. was delicious!! took a taxi everywhere, we were a large family and it was much cheaper to do than take the excursions.

Mazatlan, Mexico

3 out of 5
not our fave... activities are very spread apart.. our restaurant experience here was not good at all. went back to the ship early and had fun and relaxed.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cabo is sensational!! so sad we only had a few hours here. would love to have stayed longer, swam at the beach, hit the shops and take some boat tours... now we are planning another cruise.. the one that stay overnight in cabo... this is how they hook you! lol

You picked the right ship for y0ur first cruise.  Now it sounds like you are getting hooked on cruising.  It can be addicting.
