Review summary

food atrocious; room filthy; with "guarenteed gratuities" service MARGINAL. 50% with poor attitudes.

entertainment was excellent and logistics outstanding.

major complaint----filthy room and terrible food. even pizza tasted like cardboard, and HORIZON----

glorified "cafeteria."

Tables cleaned with same dirty towel for multiple meals---multiple tables. Health nightmare in the wings.

very poor value versus other cruise lines. best description----"cattle car" experience.

Alaska beautiful----Princess experience----"a disaster." AND never again!

My advice----never Princess again----two times in a row; with ugly experiences tells me---NEVER Princess again. Sticking with other cruise companies that value my business.

Agree with the comments. The sanitary conditions were terrible as we also noticed wiping the dining tables with the same dirty cloth in the same plastic bucket of water. Did not use a spray cleaner. Disgusting to also see the stewards and dining helpers in the buffet wrapping up silverware that had been unwrapped laying on the tables.
