Review summary

Overall experience was very poor. From arrival in our cabin- which had a cancellation of our first day's excursion, which they admitted they knew for months but never notified us, and dinner, where our 3 kids were seated in a different dining room from us!!! It was all downhill from there...

Your only choice for dinner was the dining room (or cold pizza and salad), no buffet at all. The food was terribly bland, or oversalted. No herbs or spices were used- an unpleasant surprise for Italian food! Beef and lamb were not of good quality either.

No-one apologized for many different problems, always made excuses, and were basically indifferent.

Size and condition are fine, but the layout presented challenges in several narrow places when/where many people were moving- i.e., after dinner going to show.

Cabin / Stateroom

Stateroom was fine, however the shower constantly ran hot then cold- we checked with others and theirs did the same thing.

Cagliari, Sardinia

We did a segway tour, independent of the cruise line, and we all 5 enjoyed it very much. Not a lot of sites to see, but a beautiful view.

Our tour was cancelled (although we had received a confirmation of it just one day before sailing), so we went on the "hop on - hop off" bus. There were only 3 stops and hardly anything to see.

Don't Miss: The catacombs were recommended, but that was our cancelled tour!

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

We did a taxi-tour, again independent of the cruise line. The drver was knowledgeable and it was not expensive.
