Review summary

Good. We find nice people on the cruise between the cruise staff and passengers. For European cruise company it was not bad but we like more to travel with Celebrity or Princess

main dining rooms look fine, service was good and selection of meals for dinner was good. The problem was no tea or coffee after the dinner there. Water in bottles was available only for peoples who ordered and prepaid it before. Buffet was horrible. Very poor selection of meals, extremely overcrouded because of bad design of sitting areas. You could get tea or coffee only in the morning or between 4 and 5 pm. Later you could not get even water

Extremely friendly waiters at restaurants. Great table steward Abadi at the main restaurant (table 345 etc) and room steward Joey (cabin 7206). The main problem with other personnel - lack of knowledge of English

Layout of buffet areas and areas around pools was was very poor. and therefore overcrouded. Common areas have been clean but many time process of cleaning took place in a day time and therefore accessible areas have been even smaller. In some places, especially around pools almost all the time was smell of chemicals. Elevators work was bad, some of them didn't work at all during the whole cruise

No problem with having Coffee and Tea, we were often at the Lido di Porpora, at various times of the day, and you could always get Coffee and Tea at the bar, as for water, the Cabin steward can fix that for you.

Operated by Costa out of Italy, but the owners are from the US, Carnival among others. So not strictly European.
