Review summary

Although we have taken many cruises this was our second princess cruise I was a little hesitant to book another princess because our first one was not that great. But this cruise went above and beyond what I expected the ship was clean and the staff was friendly and the ship was up-to-date

Embarkation

5 out of 5
After 25+ cruises this was the best embarkation we have ever had. After 25+ cruises this was the best embarkation we have ever had. They had everything ready And was very smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food onboard was very good we do not drink so I can’t read the drink process but the food in the main dining room and in the buffet area as well as the specialty dining was just right the staff there is very friendly and willing to help.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The naturalist and the national Park people that they brought on board was very informative and very personable and willing to talk to anyone that had a question.

Entertainment

We did not go to any of the shows

Children's Programs

We did not have any children with us

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on board the ship went well above what was expected of them. The staff here is friendly and willing to help with anything that you have they are always asking you if you want your drink refilled or if there’s anything in your room that you might want. In my opinion the staff is the best on any cruise ship I have ever been on.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This year was not well-maintained and clean. The staff on board made sure that there was nothing on the floor that there was no problem in the rooms and that everything was just right. They even clean the window on our balcony before we got to glacier Bay

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This was the first time we have ever got a mini suite. But one thing I will say it was very comfortable and there was plenty of room and it was well-maintained

Ship tip

If you have a question or a problem just ask anyone on board and they will help you anyway they can

Ports of call

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
The only problem with Vancouver is the hotel rates are very high and most of them are not worth the price but if you’re smart you will stay in a hotel before you go on your cruise don’t travel the day of your cruise

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
It was very good we booked an excursion called lighthouse is totem poles from the cruise line it was very nice the captain of the ship went beyond her way to make us comfortable and to get the pictures we needed plus we got to see some whales

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
This is a very fun port we bought through the cruise ship tour and it was a lot of fun we were able to see the things that we wanted to and get the places visited we had on her list

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
We booked a tour through the cruise ship it was very fun and enjoyable

Cruise Glacier Bay

5 out of 5
Glacier Bay was awesome the captain was able to bring the ship up relatively close to the glaciers so that we could see them and also witnessed them calving this was an experience that we have not had before

Cruise College Fjord, Alaska

5 out of 5
This was very fun we had an enjoyable time

Whittier (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
We took a tour to portage glacier and then to the Anchorage airport it was very nice and the bus driver that they hired was very informative

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
This was one of the most well organized disembarkation that we have ever had we have been on numerous cruises and this one was the smoothest
