We loved the scenery. The cruise was fun and we may do it again

Embarkation

It was ok-though I thought we were being herded.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room was good. Service was great. For what we paid for the cruise, I was expecting the specialty restaurants to be included. There were 12 of us traveling together and we went to the Crab Shack and felt it was overpriced for what we were served. The buffet was good. Me and several of my grandsons were on the soft drink package and we were disappointed in the choices. No Dr Pepper. None of us liked Coca Cola. You need to offer more choices.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The movies by the pool were way too loud. You couldn’t sit and talk to anyone with the blaring noise from there screen. You couldn’t sit on the balcony by your cabin and enjoy the evening because of the blaring noise. We also feel it’s also detrimental to the environment and wildlife.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Musicians were good, the singers were good. A couple of the dancers who were at the 50s and 60s music with Symphonee couldn’t dance at all and should have just not even tried. And they were distracting. The stage shows were enjoyable.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
my grandson said the teen club was ok

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our room steward was amazing! The other staff for the most part were excellent. There were a few that we couldn’t understand.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Very clean

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Felt the shower could have been a little bigger. Other that that, it was fine and very clean.

Ship tip

Just enjoy yourself. Be ready to walk and be prepared to try to understand the staff.

Loved Juneau, especially the Red Dog Saloon. It was so much fun-one of the highlights of our trip!

Did not like it at all—nothing worth seeing. Fishing excursion. Five went and caught five fish

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

Just was on the bus from the ship to the airport.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
The airport experience was a nightmare. Was in live over 3 hours for security and customs processing through the United Airlines area. It was uncalled for. None of the workers were helpful other than to tell you to move from one line to another just to wait. I have been to Europe and never experienced anything gloms this. All the people in line by us shares the same sentiment. This was not good at all.
