Review summary

The cruise was memorable and the natural beauty of Alaska is magnificent.  It's been on our list for many years and we finally manage to escape and enjoy this wonderful trip.   One of the things we did not like was to have arrived in Whittier after midnight.  We basically spent the night while docked.  Maybe Princess can rearrange cruise so that we could be sailing during the night and arrive early in the morning in Whittier.

Cabin / Stateroom

Most ships we have cruised in a balcony stateroom has a couch. The balcony was quite small and we were on the Aloha deck with an overhang from the deck above blocking our view of the sky. Not a good design. Also, balconies below had no privacy as balconies above could look down on them.

Ship tip

Breakfast and dinner was good but quality of lunches could be improved with more variety.
