I enjoyed it immensely. I loved the size of the ship and to be able to spend time with my sisters. I would love to cruise again on the Celebrity Summit.
Embarkation

We arrived early for our 11am embarkation, and we had to wait for the ship to open up for us, but we were able to board quickly after the ship was ready for us.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

I thought the food was great. Due to the timing of many of our excursions we missed the noontime rush and the buffet was nearly empty and no lines. The food was great. We ate several dinners at the main restaurant Cosmopolitan including the lobster night.

The food was very good, however our table was near a bussing station and was very busy. Staff was attentive.
Oceanview Café

There was always something to eat. The food was well seasoned and tasted great. There were only a few times that it was busy, but we often ate at off hours and there were few lines. There was always somewhere to sit. We often ate outside.

We enjoyed our embarkation evening dinner here. There was a special embarkation day price and it was well worth the extra money.
Le Petit Chef

We enjoyed the food and entertainment. This is a very cleaver show.
Cafe al Bacio and Gelateria

I never vitiated here but both my sisters loved their coffees especially their ice coffees. They stopped here nearly every day as did many other people. This was a very busy place.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the indoor pool several times and we were able to sit out at the outdoor pool deck our first day in Maine, what fun in early October. I enjoyed the walking track on the 10th deck, it was a bit windy but it was a great way to walk off some of the calories that I had indulged in. On of my sisters enjoyed playing pickle ball.
Solarium

Hot tubs were great. The pool very rarely had many people in it. There were lots of people who spent a lot of time here. I didn’t spent a lot of time here but I enjoyed the time I did spend.
Jogging Track

Walked everyday and my GPS said I walked 6 miles due to the movement of the ship and I know I only walked a mile each morning on the track. Most mornings were windy but it was nice to be able to walk outside each morning.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the stage shows, musicians and the comedian, the magician was ok. I really enjoyed the Strings Duo, two violin players, that played in several of the bars before and after dinner. I would check the daily schedule to find out which bar they were at and spent a great half hour or so listening to them. They had a huge range of music that they played without duplicating any pieces. I loved listening to them. The ship band was very good.
Art Gallery
5 out of 5
We attended most of the art programs and two of the auctions. We learned a lot during the different art programs and got to know the people who work there. We enjoyed this a great deal.
The Theater

The theater is two deck and the seats were great. There were more open seats on the main floor than I expected. I enjoyed the shows here as well as the speakers.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service was excellent. Everyone was smiling and greeted the passengers. The waiters were pleasant and attentive. Our room steward kept our room straightened. He came in twice a day, which was great since there were three of us in the room and the hide-abed was being used. He was able to keep the bed out all the time but he was able to adjust the bottom of the bed so that we were able to walk past it to get to the balcony. The hide-abed was very comfortable. We got chocolates on three nights of our cruise. Everyone was very pleasant.
Ship Quality

I loved the size of this ship. It was clean and well maintained. It is an older ship but it wasn’t obvious.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was very clean. There were three of us, so it hit a bit cozy, but nothing we couldn’t handle. There was a hide-abed which was very comfortable. Our steward was able to fold the bottom down so that we had access to the balcony. However, there was very little space to get out of bed when needed during the night. The bathroom was small but was fine. We did have an issue with the shower, but a plumber was able to fix it. Unfortunately he was unable to fix the drip in the sink. There was a night light underneath the sink but I’m glad I brought a small motion detection light to give the room a bit more light at night.
Ship tip
Enjoy. There are a lot of planned activities, often at the same time, so use the app and the paper schedule to figure out what you want to do.
We took a tour through the cruise line to St. Martins. It was low tide and we were able to get close to the sea caves. I was very pleased that it was low tide as this was what I wanted to do, walk on the bottom of the ocean. We did not stop at the Reversing Falls, our guide said there was nothing to see. I was a bit disappointed. We were on the back of the bus and many of us felt there was something wrong with the bus. Our concerns were not taken seriously. We thought we were going to break down, it didn’t happen, but it was good that we were on a ship sponsored tour, just in case we did break down and we were late back to the port. As it was we arrived just before the ship was ready to leave. The tour guide was ok.
This was an overnight stop. We took two tours through the ship. Saturday night we took a ghost tour. The tour guide was fantastic and very engaging and entertaining. He told stories of early Quebec City, we walked through back alleys and the area where we were felt very European and was beautiful in the lamp light. This was a great tour and well worth walking in the rain.
The next morning we took the Quebec City and Country side tour, more rain. This was a very interesting tour of the country side. We visited a sugar shack where they made maple syrup. This was very interesting. We had apple pie here. We went on to the Montmorency Falls and even in the rain this was a beautiful place.
I did not plan an excursion. My sisters ended up staying on the ship. I took the tender into port. I was able to walk to a chocolate factory to learn about the making of chocolate. Then I walked to several museums including the Farnsworth Museum and the Lighthouse Museum and finally the Puffin Research Center. I enjoyed all of these activities. Both museums were about $15 each and well worth it. I was on one of the first tenders in the morning and I was able to get back on ship early in the afternoon and before the buffet was closed so I ate lunch back on board. I had a great day in this port.
Boston port was having some type of issue concerning getting the luggage off the ship and we had to stand in line for sometime once we left the ship. This was really the only snafu of the whole trip.
