Review summary

This cruise was suited to a senior aged population, including activities and entertainment. We were younger than most of the travelers on the cruise and I'm middle aged. Plan accordingly.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Check in was quick as compared to pre-COVID.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was excellent in the main dining room and Tuscan Grille. Spend the extra money to have dinner at Tuscan Grille, different food than in the dining room. Would be nice if they expanded the late night options to more than pizza, pasta, cheese, salad, deserts.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
This particular cruise didn't have many activities we were interested in. The activities were geared towards a senior population.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed some of the shows and comedians. Other shows were not our cup of tea.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Ship service and staff were exceptional. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship is smaller in size. Didn't like that the smoking area always blows inward or towards you when walking the ship. Common areas, including bathrooms, were cleaned more than regularly.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Typical cabin with a balcony.

Ports of call

Cape Liberty (Bayonne), New Jersey

3 out of 5
No excusion in Bayonne and avoid Newark. Go to NYC and have fun.

Newport, Rhode Island

3 out of 5
Excursions available but were limited. We explored shopping and restaurant around the tender area.

Charleston, South Carolina

5 out of 5
Did a priceline excusion of a horse and carriage ride. Very informative. Great views of the historical districts.

Royal Naval Dockyard, West End, Bermuda

4 out of 5
Bermuda is beautiful. There isn't much to do but shopping at the Royal Naval Dockyard and everything closed down around 5pm. Head to Hamilton on the ferry or bus.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We chose to take our own luggage off the ship and could leave at any time. Small line exiting the ship. Customs was a breeze. Chaotic outside and not enough people assisting passengers to the correct transportation.
