I would recommend this 5 night itinerary, ship, and Celebrity Cruises!
This was my first Celebrity Cruise after one RCL cruise prior.
We had a great time on the modern, gorgeous Celebrity Summit and at our ports.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Slow dining room service (I think understaffed - our waiter was very nice).
Great buffet food and service.
The only special restaurant we went to, Tuscan Grille, was very nice, great food, great service from our waiter.
Onboard Activities

Nice modern and clean ship and amenities. Celebrity has fewer side activities than RCL, but the standard pools, hot tubs, sport court, jumbo movie screen, gym, were all up to par.
Entertainment

Live theater program was par excellence. I loved all the stage shows.
The live musicians were lots of fun wherever they were popping up on board.
Service and Staff

Great service from our room attendant, Ms. Ninta!
Ship Quality

Beautiful clean and modern ship. The plank deck is small without access to the helipad.
Cabin / Stateroom

While our cabin was modern, there was masking tape on the room-adjoining door, and our balcony door did not lock completely. The bathroom and bedroom were otherwise well appointed. Good amount of cabinet and closet space. There is a mini fridge. There was adequate storage space for our full suitcases under the bed.
Ship tip
Consider skipping the slow dining room in favor of some restaurant reservations. The buffet was always great including at dinner as well.
Clean port , plenty of shopping. Our 6 hour excursion of Stingray snorkeling, Jimmy (Jeep-esque) off-roading, Cenote diving, with lunch and resort style beach time included, was a lot of fun.
