Review summary

The only disapppointed was of seven ports of call the were scheduled were only were able to see four due to Hurrican Fiona. Better to be safe that risk being in harmsway.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Very easy and quick. From getting out of our taxi to having out lnch was just under 1 hour Compared to ourt Alaska cruise May of 2022 on another cruise line which took well over 2.5 hours to do the same after getting our the transfer bus from the airport

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
all around good to excellent food and service especially in the special restaurants. ian dinign room was very good with some wait especially for desserts. Drinks were consistant through out the ship

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
All of the evening shows wre very good to excellent with the exception of one which a lot of people left their seats after about 15 mins including my self and my wife. One other show was medicore at best. Cmpared to a May Alaskand cruise that we took htis year on another cruise line the shows were far superior.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
See my previoous comment and th eother quarters and bands were very entertaining wuth a good selection of music from the 60's thorouhg the 2010's.

Children's Programs

no children and due to the3 time of se there were no childrne on board

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
excellent all around very cordial and willing to help at any time

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The Summit is what I would call a medium to large ship under 100,000 tons and under 900 feet in length. I twas fully refurbished in 2019 and the ship cruises very well. This was not our first cruise on this ship and the experience was consistant with out last cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very comfortable with plenty of storage. The window was at least 4 feet in diameter and convientlh locsatd just two decks down fomr the pools and spa.

Portland, Maine

This turned out to be an overnight port as we rode our Hurruicane Fiona to allow it to move rapidly off the NE. Took the Kennenbunkport tour that was very informative.
