Review summary

We are glad they are cruising again, and we loved this cruise and had an exciting time, but I will not go on the Summit again when there are so many better ships to choose from (RCCL & Celebrity). The bathtub is just too dangerous getting in and out of IMHO.

Man, the food was great, we ate at all the specialty restaurants.

All the staff were great as was the service. Everyone deserves kudo's.

So this being out 5th time on Summit, and our first since it was remodeled, we were highly disappointed in how they did it. Carpet was put on top of old carpet, the bathtub is a danger to the elderly or short people as the tub is too high off the floor and I almost fell as well as my wife almost falling, she is too short to get in and out safely.

Comfort and size were great as well as cleanliness, I already mentioned the bathtub.

Ship tip

All-inclusive was the only way to go, I don't regret getting the retreat suite.

Cancelled our shore excursion due to winds and walking around downtown is not fun at all, we didn't last long at all. The smell and dust were too much.
