Review summary
We enjoyed this cruise but there were some drawbacks. Being a smaller ship in the Celebrity fleet there is not much to do on sea days. The cruise line entertainers put on good shows at night, but during the day there was very little in the way of entertainment . You basically had a choice of sitting around the pool with very loud music, or attending yet another shopping talk extolling the benefits of Diamonds International and ridiculously over priced watches. The staff on Celebrity are fantastic, and this is what will make your cruise special. On the Summit it starts at the very top with the fabulous Captain Kate who was very visible, accessible and friendly throughout the cruise. Without fail every staff member we met was friendly and helpful.Embarkation
