Overall, an enjoyable cruise and though she's a smaller ship it meant there was plenty of everything for everyone - from food to pool/Jacuzzi space.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
We arrived early, about 11am (ish) and were able to get onto the ship immediately. Rooms weren't available until about 1:30 but that was no problem as bags were brought to the staterooms. Food/bar stations were open and you had the opportunity to investigate the ship.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Everything was perfectly presented and kept clean. Quite a few of the food stations in the Ocean view buffet seemed to close quite early. Stations that were open kept their areas well stocked. We did notice on quite a few evenings, clearing tables in the buffet area was quite slow. On the last 2 days many of the bars either ran out of fruit or just didn't care to dress their cocktails anymore.
Onboard Activities

Celebrity Summit offers a packed itinerary daily - something to suit many different interests
Entertainment

All, that we saw, were excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the Celebrity orchestra and the shows that were put on in the evenings (7pm & 9pm) were brilliant, with very gifted people.
Service and Staff

Amazing people..... I'm sure they have to put up with so much. Everyone we encountered had a smile, time to chat and very helpful. Our stateroom steward, Made (deck 7), was fantastic. No towel animals though which I'm sure many travelers love to see
Ship Quality

She is certainly an older lady and smaller/not as modern as other cruise liners I've been on but she's clean and maintained. One thing I would change though, would be to move the smoking area on the pool deck to an upper deck. It is far too near everyone on the busiest deck of the ship. I am a smoker and even I found the stench too much
Cabin / Stateroom

We had a stateroom with a pretty big verandah on deck 7. The room is not massive (two people can not pass the end of the bed at the same time) but it has plenty of storage with a built in tv unit, mini fridge and a matching small desk. Adequate bathroom with more storage.
Ship tip
Do not attempt to bring a power strip - it will be taken from you and returned at the end of your cruise. There are no soda fountains - you get sodas from the bars/staff using your key card.
We have been to Puerto Rico before and know it to be wonderful however this visit was very different. We docked here only 6 weeks after Irma and we had no power. So many establishments are still closed because of having no power, water or generators and many are not expecting to have power restored until hopefully Christmas. Irma had devastated this island in more ways than one.
