Review summary

we needed much more time in most ports. The ports were a good choice because there was plenty to see. There needs to be an improvement in the dining hall. The one plus was we loved the captain and her interaction with the passengers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
It was difficult getting a reservation if you did not have reserved dining. I hate to complain but I have been on many cruises (10 plus) and the food was average.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
We did enjoy heated pool in adult area. Hot tubes were always crowded. We found the outdoor movie site last 3 nights. It's a great feature as long as weather is good.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Very average.

Children's Programs

No children!

Service and Staff

Steward was excellent.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Steward was excellent. Our room was refreshed many times during the day. The cabin was very sufficient. I rated it a 4 because we were on a lower floor.

Ship tip

Get a set dining time.

We visited cemetery where many victims of Titanic were buried. Took bus tour. Very informative.

Immigration messed this day up. Could not get off ship till after 11am. We rented a car and drove to Kennebunkport. Due to difficulty getting off boat we did not have a lot of time to site see. We did have a great meal at Mabel's restaurant.

Boston, Massachusetts

5 out of 5
Boston is a great city! Very historical.

Newport, Rhode Island

We tendered here and had a problem getting off ship due to sail boat traffic? Great city to visit. The Vanderbilt House is a must.

Time in a port must be an interesting decision by the cruise lines. How long to get to the next port, getting folks on/off, port docking fees, etc.
