Definitely enjoyed Summit's repositioning cruise Fall 2011. Needed the vacation, and the feeling that everyone is literally waiting on you. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, fun as well. Food was excellent (we were prepared to eat our way through it!). Ports were ok. Bermuda was a little bumming because a lot of excursions were cancelled due to storm/wind (stirred up alot of sandy spots in the water so we wouldn't be able to enjoy snorkeling/glass bottom boats), made our own fun by visiting the Gibbs Lighthouse. St Thomas was awesome. Loved the Castaway Girl Sail & Snorkel excursion. Hit up the SkyRide afterwards for some great views, and had lunch at Senior Frogs as well. Disembarkation in San Juan was great but due to weather issues back home (freak of nature nor-easter), we were stranded on the island til our AA could find us flights home 2 days later (the flights were not booked through BJ's Travel though). Enjoyable vacation even if I was dying to get home at the end.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Meat dishes every night! Great variety of choices in both dining hall and cafe area. Spectacular desserts as well! Also very much enjoyed a lot of the activity demos that the chef and cooking staff held to show guests how they prepare food behind the scenes.
Entertainment

Comedian wasn't really funny, but we tried to catch the musical shows when they performed (caught 2 out of 3). Typical song and dance shows, but mixed in a cool variety of dance (ballet, wire antics, LOTS of costume changes). I'm a music snob so I would notice more of it. Production was top-notch, plotlines a little hokey, but family friendly, and enjoyable. Didn't care much for the impressionist either one night but that's just not my thing, she was good at what she does.
Children's Programs

We don't have kids. Only visited Fun Factory for a scavenger hunt seems we were on a hunt for crayons :-)
Service and Staff

Everyone was great aboard. Only pain in the butt was at check-in back on land, the moment we stepped out the taxi. Didn't catch name but only problem was we wanted to carry on our luggage, we were told it was okay, and then were sent back because one of our bags was "too big." So we went back and checked them, only to find some guy walked right through with a bag twice the size of our "oversized" bag and was not sent back with the same response. Lady was gone by time boyfriend was done with cigarette (and fuming). This was our ONLY complaint of the vacation though.
Ship Quality

Very clean, great housekeeping.
Cabin / Stateroom

Very clean, great housekeeping. Stateroom perfect size although we were only Deck 2. Was comfortable, waves didn't bother us much.
Windy/after storm time. Wasn't the port or the ship's fault, but it caused most of the water excursions to be cancelled due to lack of visibility. Visited Gibbs Lighthouse- very cool. Rode the bus after getting a day pass to Hamilton, bummed about and rode ferry back. Hit up Bermuda Rum Cake bakery and taste-tested a couple, and purchased some as well. Walked about, by the Frog & Onion, over to Snorkel Park Beach, would have checked out the museum if had more time (it was late in the day when we stumbled upon it). Had a drink at the Fishbone before boarding again.
Had lunch at Senor Frogs - empty seems we were only ship in port. Early AM excursion with Castaway Girl for the Sail & Snorkel = very fun, entertaining, and rum punch on the way back! Rode the SkyRide up the mountain afterwards, great views, uncrowded, animals, wild iguanas, etc.
