Review summary

The ship was okay, but the decor in the staterooms was definitely dated. The carpet was worn, and some of the hooks in the bathroom were loose and unusable. The public areas were well-maintained, but overall the ship could have used a refurbishment in terms of decor.

Huge tourist stop. Mostly shopping. Excursions are quite expensive. Took in a lumberjack show that was very hokey.

Took a bus trip instead of the White Pass Train, and it was great. Much less expensive, but a great value. Driver was a wonderfully informative tour guide, and he stopped frequently so we could take pictures.

Only one ship is allowed to dock at a time, so it's not crowded. Very small port, but they have a great Zip Line. There are beach trails and nature hikes you can take on your own. Lot's of cannery history, and also lots of shopping, of course!

You don't need to buy a bus tour because there are free trolleys. Lots of shopping and activities.
