Review summary

I've shared with all of my friends and family how amazing the cruise was on Celebrity. I recommend everyone to give it a chance as I didn't consider myself a "cruiser" but after making friends, dancing, eating amazing food, exploring Mexico, it was just an awesome experience.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and smooth embarkation experience. Had no issues, registered early on the app

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Amazing food at your fingertips 24/7 with the cafe, grand eparnay was an amazing dining experience, and the specialty restaurants were phenomenal especially Le Petit Chef.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The entertainment hosts Danz and Ana were amazing and did a great job with trivia, dance classes, silent disco nights, etc. The fitness center was clean and beautifully facing the ocean and the pools were nice as well.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The Rock City show was great, as well as the guest singer from Las Vegas. Amade was my least favorite as simply playing classical Mozart with balet would've been preferrable to the modernization.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All of the service staff was amazing from my room steward to my waitress. Everyone always said hello when I walked by. One of the best service experiences of my life. They also remembered my birthday and helped me celebrate with song and cake.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean and well organized.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was appropriate size for one guest. I would upgrade to a skysuite or balcony room next time or if taking another guest. I cruised alone.

Ship tip

Make sure to download the Celebrity App. It becomes extremely useful.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

5 out of 5
Easy to get in and out.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

3 out of 5
It was extremely hot with not many places to visit at the port, you have to venture out. I went to a mall for the air conditioning and had ceviche at a tourist destination.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
The port is filled with tourist traps and Cabo Wabo was an expensive letdown but the view is amazing, there are plenty of food options, and the beaches are closeby. Cabo was my favorite port of the trip.

Ensenada, Mexico

3 out of 5
At no fault of Celebrity, Ensenada doesn't really come alive until nighttime unless you venture into the wineries during the day which is hard when you're limited on time. I had lunch at a restaurant which was subpar and overpriced.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I was in and out within minutes. Only issue was getting an Uber but took about 30 minutes and I was departing easily.
