Review summary

This was my first cruise and it will be hard to beat. We were very fortunate that the weather was beautiful, I would love to go back someday.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Celebrity had a fast and very efficient process, we got there early and boarded the ship as soon as the doors were open.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffet was good but the main dining room Grand Epernay was great! The service was the best in any restaurant I've ever been in. We had the best wait staff (Bukhari and Arief) and asked to sit at their tables every night even if we had to wait.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
There was something to do for everybody. We needed another week to check it all out.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Tom Franek and Rich Ivanovich were great in their shows. I also enjoyed the music throughout the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The service was great throughout the ship. Most of the employees made you feel special and appeared to enjoy their jobs. You really couldn't ask for anything better as far as the service.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The cleanliness of the ship was excellent! Our cabins were cleaned twice a day which included vacuuming. Ian was my cabin steward and he did an excellent job and offered to get me ice before I even asked for it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room 6128- The cabin was much roomier than I expected and we had 3 rooms next to each other and they were able to remove a partition so that we had shared balconies.

Ship tip

Get a balcony room, this was my first cruise and the balcony made it that much more special.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

We just had 1 day before the cruise and went to the Space Needle and Pikes Place market. The Space Needle is overpriced for travelling up an elevator but it was fun. The market was fun but take your walking shoes.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
I really didn't see much of the town because we had a wonderful excursion of Whale watching and the Mendenhall Glacier.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Rode the Whitepass Train and saw beautiful scenery as well as visiting a dog sled training business. Really enjoyed both and we still had time to explore the town and eat Alaskan King Crab at one of the local establishments.

Celebrity is great. Hope you got to do a lot of wonderful things. If you didn't do Butchart Gardens in Victoria, you'll just have to go back!!!!!!!
