Review summary

We've sailed MANY times on many different cruise lines and have now moved Celebrity into first position. The line, the ship, the crew - everything about this trip - was fantastic and I'd go on Celebrity again in a heartbeat.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Having upgraded to an Aqua Class cabin we enjoyed an embarkation line that had zero wait time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food in Blu was fantastic, as were all of the options in the casual buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We didn't join a lot of the activities (the sole purpose of the trip was to relax and do nothing!) - but the ones we did join were fantastic.

Entertainment

This is the first time we didn't go to a single show - we did our own thing at all times. I heard the shows and entertainment were great - but I cannot confirm or deny that!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Outstanding on all fronts!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
We LOVED this ship. It seems to be a step-up from other ships we've been on. Very classy and very clean. I don't think there was a single time I visited a public restroom and someone wasn't cleaning it.

Ports of call

Ketchikan, Alaska

Juneau, Alaska

5 out of 5
We didn't really visit Juneau. We did the Tracy Arm Fjord tour and disembarked the ship onto a catamaran and went to the glacier. We then tracked a few whales - and re-united with the ship in Juneau. By that time, we decided not to get back off the ship again.

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
It was fun to see Skagway but I was surprised that it was such a small town and filled with so many jewelry stores (imagine St. Thomas right off the ship)…. But we had a great time.

Victoria, British Columbia

5 out of 5
Super Clean and friendly (as always)…. just a regular city with stores, a nice harbor, etc. - VERY crowded - but fun. We took the transportation into town rather than walked - and were glad we did.
