Review summary

I thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Didn't "enjoy" the cold and wet parts but knew it would be like that before we left. Service on board was most excellent everywhere. Cabin attendant kept our room spotless.Food and service in the formal dining room, was excellent. Food in the cafeteria was pretty good for the most part. The sailing was great, even in 20 foot seas, the ship rode well , with little rocking and rolling, although even the crew tended to walk about like drunken sailors.

Some of the entertainers were flat out hilarious, while some of the musical was just so so.

Didnt attend any.

Service and Staff

Krishun took excellent care of our cabin. Kristina began to recognize me and know my routine breakfast order on the 4th morning. Great smile and greeting. Loved her accent. Chef Akshat did well on my egg order.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Good and clean, comfy. If I had a complaint, it would be the lack of "entertainment" available for late night , or any other time for that matter. Stuck with the TV Guide channel and the Bridge View most of the time.

Ship tip

The Balcony cabin is worth the few more $$$ . Eat and a later or much earlier time in the cafe to avoid having to "hunt" for a table.

Ports of call

Seattle, Washington

Stayed downtown so was withing walking distance of the piers and Monorail , which takes you to the Space needle functions. $2.00 for seniors. Lots of "homeless and handicapped" (ha ha") witnessed a woman drop a $20.00 and the lady got up and ran off like a marathon runner. Plenty of STEEP hills to walk up and down, NOT recommended for wheelchair bound people.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Loved Ketcikan. Probably my favorite stop.

Juneau, Alaska

Not handy to get around to and fro'.

Victoria, British Columbia

Beautiful city. Easy commute to and from downtown .
