\we were disappointed to find out that our next cabin got a much better price and did infact get an onboard credit which guest relations insisted was not given on this cruise  \i explained that \i received an email on this credit but as \i did not have a hard copy of said email they would not help.  \we did enjoy the entertainment.  \we were also disappointed with our cabin person, poor attitude.

When you read of 14 days cruise you might think "how boring".  Wrong.  It was delightful...days at sea in the beginning to "rest up", enjoying the Celebrity Silhouette, eating good food.  Then a few days of ports and visiting new countries.  We met some wonderful folks from various parts of the world.  The ship was very comfortable; the larger size stateroom was a pleasant surprise. Our captain gave a very entertaining daily update at 10 AM.  About mid-cruise the daily "reset of time clocks" started to make up the needed 5-6 hours of time change to get us to the European time zone.  We are thinking about booking an Autumn Transatlantic Crossing in the future.

The staff was terrific! I think they try to hard to upgrade their food and it does not always work. I know it is supposed to be a step from Royal Carib, but I am not sure about that. We had a friend that got sick, the medical staff was outstanding, even speeding up the ship to get back to port to get two critical patients off early.

Very Happy. This is our second experience with Celebrity and we were happy to return . We tried others but none compare to Celebrity.

I was ill for nearly half of the duration of the cruise. I was confined to my cabin for 2 and a half days. I missed out on Falmouth Jamaica and Labadee Haiti because I could not leave my stateroom due to gastro issues.. I had stomach cramps, diarrhea adn nausea.

I missed out on seeing those islands and also shopping. I was finally able to leave my cabin late Saturday afternoon but there was not much to see or do that interested me because my stomach was still queasy and I existed mostly on soup and crackers because I had no desire for food.

I have been home for a few days now and  I still don't have an appetite. If it persists I will have to see my family doctor and probably get medication.

The trip was not only a disappointment for me, but also my husband. He felt compelled to stay in the stateroom with me because I am also a diabetic and he wanted to make sure my glucose levels didn't fall too low due to not eating properly. Besides, he did not want to go to the theatre alone or to eat alone.

All in all, I was sad and disappointed because we spent nearly $4,000.00 dollars for the cruise and an additonal $1,200.00 for airfares. I really wanted us to have a great cruise experience,. Sadly, we did not.

Wonderful trip but I think I prefer to cruise with the Princess Cruise Lines. More my type of people and they seem to cater to a healthier way of eating. More wheat breads (and wheat pizza) More sugar free treats.

Ship was well laid out and had all the amenities you could expect. The staff was one of the nicest we have experienced on a cruise filed with a mix of people from every nationality. The specialty restaurant's were a treat and make sure to try Qsine.  The food in the main dining room suffers by comparison while the service was fine. The ship was clean and kept well stocked. The cruise director was a joy and we had some very entertaining performers for our voyage. All in all a fine vacation . 

This was a very enjoyable cruise.  The ship is well appointed, the staff efficient and helpful, the wait staff was always there to assist, the shows were` top notch, the band was outstanding and the sound volume was just right.  Enjoyed the land tours (shopping stops too short).  Would recommend Celebrity to anyone considering a cruise.  If you are retired, this is a great cruise.  My Carnival cruise in January was just that--a carnival. 

My husband and I could not have asked for a better week onboard the Silhouette. Service, food, and the ship were all top notch. The 1,2,3Go package gave us the classic beverage package and it definitely made the experience better for us. I don't think we'll be able to cruise again without a package like that. We will say that we did not notice any appreciable differences between the regular veranda stateroom and the concierge level.

Ship was fantastic.  Food was the best I've had on a cruise.  Had the premium drink package that more than paid for it's self.  Only complaint was the bed in our state room was not ver comfortable

me and my mother had a wonderful time on this cruise,the food was excellent in the main dining room was not equally as impressed with the buffets.enjoyed the ship very much and all the ports of calls that we visited.this was my first celebrity cruise, i have been on about 8 cruises all with ncl. my mother has been on 2 celebrity cruises,we would take this cruise again.

The ship is a very beautiful ship but however everything on board was very expensive. The cheapest glass of wine is $10.03 and the glass wasn't even 1/2 full. Bottle water $4.00. One 8X10 =$30.00.

There is no place for you to Iron your cloths so you will have to spend more to dry clean or just walk around in wrinkle cloths. They will nickle and dime you to death.Food wasn't that good but the service was great. Lots of old people, did i say lots of old people. The shows are great, you will have a good time but the entertainments sucks.

Buffet had lots of variety but the hot food was warm or cold.

Great customer service, especially when the baggage handlers on land broke a bottle of red wine in my suitcase by not wrapping it back after inspection.  Celebrity cleaned nearly 80 pieces of soaked/stained clothing within 24 hours. Butlers and servers were polite and helpful as always.  Disappointed in decline of dining experience: food is not nearly the quality Celebrity provided in past. Sometimes I just didn't eat dinner.  Entertainment options on boat was another disappointment, I have always raved about the on-going fun itineraries of Trivia and the varied options.  this time everything was a poolside dance off or golf game. very little else offered.  But had a good time overall.  Love this cruiseline. 

This was our 6th cruise but first time on Celebrity.  We will be sailing Celebrity from now on.  Outstanding service, food, shows, activities and entertainment.  The ship was immaculate.  All staff were charming and pleasant.   Excellent buffet with enormous variety.  Sophisticated atmosphere.  If you are middle aged and looking for mature atmosphere then this is your cruise line.  If you are looking for a young crowd of partiers, then this is not for you.  You need to be on Carnival.  Evening entertainment in the main foyer was spectacular and audience participation was awesome.   We will be encouraging all of our friends to sail with Celebrity. 

Embarcation was so quick and easy, so a great start to the cruise. 

The choice and quality of the food is fantastic, dont know how they do it but we are on a diet NOW!! Our room with a balcony was spacious,the bathroom too- and well kept everyday by our lovely friendly valet. Spent quite a bit of time on the balcony which was suprisingly large. As you can gather we had a great time on this lovely ship, the staff were great but if i did have to pick a hole it would be with the excurtions. The St Kitts one was a disappointment. it was advertised , rainforest, see lizards and monkeys so i expected a walk at least in a rainforest not just a jeep ride around old sugar cane plantations that dont exist anymore. we did stop and look up at a rainforest, but that wasnt enough and I expect to get what is on the ticket sales. The Puerto Rico walking tour was interesting but chaotic. Finding your tour guide was a mess. There were two big ships there and everyone scurring around trying to find a sign (Our lady had hers under her arm so couldnt see it -very annoying!)( and after asking around a few times found one lady , waited with her , then she decided we had to go and find the other guide as her quota was full even though we were one of the first people with her! Anyway, our guide Ricky waas great, knowledgeable and professional, with charm. After those two experiences we decided not to go on any more organised tours. 

Yes we will go on the Celebrity ships again,and Royal Carribean too, both were great, Celebrity is just a step higher though.  The shows are not to my liking but I just didnt go, fair enough. We loved our cruise and will talk about it for a long time. Well done Celebrity !

Our room was fantastic, Andrew did a great job? Always clean, attention to detail was perfect.

The entertainment was fun and varied. Phil Tagg was top class, we laughed so hard we were crying. Top show!

The buffet was exceptional. The food was hot and fresh, always varied. Our only negative comment is the last buffet which was crazy. Three times around the restaurant looking for a table....in the end we gave up and went back to our room. This event should be sittings.

Second time cruise and again on the Celebrity Silhouette. First experience awesome, and the second was just as wonderful. The moment your step onto the ship the thrill starts. What a stunning , sleek, majestic lady she is. The welcome aboard starts with the most excellent staff who treat the guests in such a special way, and this never stops ,throughout each and every day until you disembark. Nothing is too much trouble, they always make you feel so special and welcome, and feel like friends by the end of your cruise. How I wish I had written down each and every one of their names to mention specifically.

The Captain set a great example to his crew, and his pride in them was obvious. He was present at many various times, during talks and shows etc,and his humor was appreciated I hope he gets to hold his newly born son, and small daughter before too long.

Sail away was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances with 150 passengers from Canada having travel problems. They received a lovely, very warm welcome from the guests as the finally approached the ship.We waved our Canadian Flag to welcome them. So very pleased the Captain announced our delay and the reason for it.

Our stateroom  steward Francisco (deck 10  #1415 ) did a stellar job , and should be recommended for his hard work, friendliness, and tireless effort to make everything in our home at sea, like a welcoming palace. The space we had was so well appointed and lacked nothing. There was plenty of storage  for our belongings, and we don't travel lightly. The bathroom was very roomy , and we couldn't fault it, and the shower was fabulous.

Our Veranda was a special place to relax alone, or with our friends who were next door in Stateroom #1411, and the partitian was removed so we could share a double space, which we enjoyed. We sipped our complimentary champagne while taking in the vast view from our superb location.

Each and every meal was a culinary delight wherever we chose to eat. The friendliness of the all the staff towards the guests as they busily went about their duties, was very noticeable. Many of them told us how they loved working on this particular ship, which was so lovely to hear. 

Throughout the ship the housecleaning was ever present , and these hard working crew members certainly made their ship sparkle.

We dined at the Tuscan Grille twice and have to comment on the special manner in which each and every person there treated the guests. Even those who were not serving our tables, came and spoke to us, or simply smiled and  greeted us . The maitre 'd enquired several times about our satisfaction , and was so eloquent in doing so. Everyone seemed so friendly and happy to be there. Our servers were from Croatia, Serbia and Honduras, and besides the delicious food, they quite made out evening perfect.

Only one small improvement to suggest would be the lighting in the Grand Curvee, near the windows during the evening. It is way too dark to read the menus, and we used small torches to do so. Other guests in the area commented that more lighting was needed, to improve the ambiance. 

Our other comment, although NOT  a complaint, was that we much preferred the last day buffet when it was in the Grand Curvee, as this was a special occasion for us. We did not enjoy the cafeteria being used, but understand the reason for the change.

Richard Spacey was the ultimate master of fun, what a terrific cruise director, and bundle of energy. Celebrity should be incredibly proud of him .  We heard guests talking so highly of him all over the ship.The Silhouette dancers and musicians , technicians etc were all very good, and performed to a high standard in all shows.The professional entertainers were excellent, and we even made a request for a song , which was granted, and sounded amazing.

Charlotte also did an awesome job in everything she did. We also enjoyed Julie whenever we saw her , either in person or on then screen giving us excellent and easy to follow advice .

The coffee shop, gelato shop and staff at all bars are friendly . efficient and hardworking. The Martini bar was very entertaining and a fun place to be , and the drinks were delicious.

The restrooms were a treat to visit and how I wish I could have a glass sink like that at home !

We could not and did not want to fault anything about our 7 night cruise aboard the stunning Celebrity Silhouette. It was another truly wonderful experience.We were very sad to disembark, but were delighted  when asked to come back and see you again , which we will.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect week.  uffeThe entire staff was attentive and very helpful.  The ship was very well maintained and very clean.  We preferred the dining room to the buffet but that is just a matter of preference.   The food was very good, however, we did not eat dinner in the additionally offered resturants.  Supposedly that food was excellent.

If you wish to reserve an alcove, plan on doing that before the cruise date.   There are only a limited number.  The shows were very entertaining and varied.  One thing noted was that there seems to be more additional cost options offered from dining to the Alcove to specialty coffees.   I feel there should just be a limited number of these on a cruise.   Part of the pleasure of cruising is knowing that the cost is paid in advance. 

This cruise was absolutely awesome!  We've only cruised twice and both times were with Celebrity.

I have only good things to say about Celebrity Silhouette! The food was great, the ship is spotlessly clean.  We had concierge class and had two attendants always ready to be help us with whatever we needed.  A bottle of champagne was in our cabin when we arrived. Fresh fruit was placed in our cabin   every day, and  our  cabin was cleaned  twice daily.  Everyone that worked on the cruise ship was very polite and friendly, and the entertainment was good. There is nothing to complain about when it comes to Celebrity cruises. Our first cruise was on Celebrity Reflection and it too was a great cruise!
