Review summary

An overall lovely experience. I enjoyed most of the ship activities, especially the casino (poker tournaments) and room service. I appreciated the library and game area too. I wish it were less focused on shopping. Also, the cruise director Alejandro was too focused on telling his personal experiences and talking about Argentina.

Embarkation

Nice - friendly staff and loved the welcome champagne

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I didn’t like the main dining room (Cuvée) because we were just at a 2-person table by the kitchen. Not a nice experience. The buffet was excellent. Room service was the best - good food and great service.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pool, fitness center, library - all enjoyable

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Dan was a funny comedian, but my favorite entertainer was Charlie the Solo Guitarist — he was fantastic!! He sang all my favorite songs and was very personable and talented.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters were great. AA was an excellent waiter and bartender. Silvia did a very good job as a room steward.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Good design, although I wish there were places to set up my laptop and iPad (with plug outlets and USB outlets)

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Fine size, good balcony. The beds aren’t very comfortable. The pillows were thick and lumpy. I asked for a new better pillow, but the steward just brought another bad pillow.

Ship tip

You can order from the main dining room for room service! Woo hoo!

Ports of call

Southampton (London), England

Fine. Boring.

New York, New York

Yucky mandatory U.S. customs. Not enough instructions to get right back on the shop. Got yelled at for being perceived for not following (unclear) directions.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

5 out of 5
Exciting just to see the island. It was fine walking around.

Nassau, Bahamas

1 out of 5
Way too crowded. The glass bottom boat had no covering, despite confirming with the excursion desk that it would. The CruiseLine refunded my money.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
U.s. customs took way too long, and the process was inefficient.

Traveler Photos

Charlie the Solo Guitarist is super talented Beautiful sunset while listening to live music from Charlie Loved the Silhouette Great desserts Loved a nice pina colada via poolside bar service Loved the views
