Review summary
Well, lots to say, hope I don’t ramble on too long 😳My first cruise, quick question would I go again? No, not my “cup of tea”! Ship itself (Celebrity Silhouette) was very clean, our steward who looked after our room, Zui, was absolutely brilliant. Could never fault anything with him. Food on the boat was ok, not fantastic but ok. Many others we spoke to who have been on cruises before were all commenting that food was not good. We had nothing to compare it too. The ocean view cafe was always chock a block and quite often had to wait for a table or wait for table to be cleaned. The variety of food in the cafe was pretty good, I always managed to find something I liked. Dinner in the main restaurant was disappointing. The waiters were brilliant, Xavier who we had most nights was very knowledgeable about what was best that night. Unfortunately I don’t eat fish and one evening the only starter I could eat was the Caesar salad, personally I don’t go in holiday to eat salad. We both thought the entertainment could have been better, some shows like “uptown” were brilliant but others were very poor. If you stayed on ship when in port nothing to do really. Unfortunately we had to use medical services and they were great. All in all it was an ok holidayEmbarkation
