Review summary

A very good cruise with a variety of good ports of call. Pace of a port a day for five straight days detracts from the relaxation aspects of the cruise. Overall quality of the Celebrity experience remains high.

We were Aqua Class and ate our meals in the Blu Dining Room. In general food and service were excellent. There could have been more variety in the bread that is served in the bread baskets on the tables each night - the ship makes a variety of bread but there is no real selection in Blu. Would have liked to see some taste (spice, herbs, etc.) on some of the main courses.

In general, the entertainment (evening shows) were exceptional. Performers throughout the ship were good. Would have liked more interactive dance nights similar to the "Abba" night we enjoyed early in the cruise.

Our service in the Blu Dining Room was very good. Our state room attendant was exceptional: he was attentive, friendly and met all of our needs with a smile.

The Silhouette is now a few years old and it is beginning to show some signs of wear and tear in the cabins and the common areas. The ship was clean and is being well maintained.
