The friendly staff are amazing! We enjoyed all the entertainment aboard. Great shows! The Silhouette dining room provides excellent meals and service. We enjoyed the spa services. All the staff went out of their way to may a trip a wonderful experience.

The main dining was excellent every time. The Ocean View cafe was often disappointing. Dried out meats, cold sauces, awful lines, no seating and chaos. For days at sea and when a majority of the tours return for lunch they need to have the dining room available and/or seating schedule.

Overall the Silhouette is wonderful. It does need some updates. The seats in the theater are worn. Several of the major traffic areas had worn carpet and chairs.

Overall very happy with our room. The desk chair needed to be replaced. Sabatino took great care to be sure we had everything we needed!
Ship tip
This is the cruise to take for this itinerary! Book your shore excursions early, months before the cruise. We loved select dining. You can make a reservation the day before to fit your plans for the next day.
We went two days early, but really could have used another day in Amsterdam. The tram is an awesome way to get around. Book Ann Frank house tickets online months ahead of time. We booked a canal dinner cruise for Lovers for our first night. We booked online before we left home. It was an awesome way to see the city. The food and the staff were wonderful. It was the perfect way to end a 20+ hour travel day. We stayed at the Park Amsterdam Hotel. It was an ideal location with excellent accommodations. Watch out for the bicycles!! They are everywhere!
We did a tour to see the highlights. It included a cruise which was really wonderful. We saw the city form land and canal which was really a plus! Our tour included an ice bar. It was interesting to see but we were ready to leave after 30 minutes. The drinks were great!
The train was a great way to get to Berlin. We enjoyed the tour and the took us for lunch at an amazing restaurant. Nolle was a delightful restaurant. Great food & ambience!
