Our most expensive excursion took us in a private car all over. We bought perfume from one of the oldest perfume makers, visited a super artsy old town and even stopped in Monti Carlo!
They had a train strike on this day so it was not as exciting as we originally thought. We did find an amazing local restaurant and ate the best walnut pesto meal
The hop on and off bus was not very good at this port. There was not as much to see here as the other ports. Wish we should have gone to Sicily and signed up for a tour.
Getting off the boat was fine. Outside the boat was pure insanity. We ended up paying $100 a person for a ride into Rome by private driver instead of waiting in hot sun And super long line for transfer to train station
