Review summary

This was a very good cruise to mostly fun ports (except Rome!) Ship was fun most of the time. We were disappointed that they didn't show any movies in their theater on the day at sea. Also surprised there was no evening Karaoke in any of the bars on board. Other than that, Celebrity did a great job for the most part and can't wait to cruise with them again.

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We now do Aqua Class on all our Celebbrity crusies and love dining in BLU each evening. Did the "Petit Chef" dinner one of the nights and were completely entertained by the show and the food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Used the treadmill in the fitness center the day at sea that was too windy and rough to walk outside. All other days enjoyed walking the track on deck 15

Entertainment

4 out of 5
One of the shows we saw with a trio of male singers was one of the best we've ever seen! Most of the Centrum music was very good too.

Children's Programs

We are 69 and 70 years old and did not bring any grandkids with us.

Service and Staff

All good!

Ship Quality

All good!

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was fine. Love the larger shower than cabins on older ships.

Ship tip

Buck up a little extra for Aqua class!

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

We LOVE Barcelona!

Ajaccio, Corsica

3 out of 5
Ajaccio was OK.

Cannes, France

5 out of 5
Cannes and the French Riviera are unbelievably beautiful!

Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy

2 out of 5
First time we were able to explore Rome. It was ridiculously crowded! Truing to understand the tour map walking the city was confusing and difficult. Took a hop-on / hop-off bus.....it went so slow in all the crazy traffic that we had to get off and take a cab back to the meeting point in order to catch our shuttle back to the ship. The least fun day of the cruise.

Livorno (Florence & Pisa), Italy

5 out of 5
Florence is beautiful and fun! Great shopping and dining everywhere. Loved it!

Valencia, Spain

5 out of 5
We did a walking tour of Valencia that was fantastic! Loved the high-tech looking new buildings that housed a museum and other cool places. This was our favorite stop on the cruise! We'll go back when we get another chance.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and perfect!
