Review summary

Wonderful family adventure. The excursions were too often. We needed an extra few days a sea to relax between the ports, otherwise be prepared for an exhausting 11 days.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
One of the best cruises we have had in many years, other than the weather being hotter that we expected. Being part of the Retreat gave us VIP boarding.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Having the Retreat upgrade was well worth the $ in that we had

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We spent more time off the ship than on the ship so our experience of the activities was limited.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Without a doubt, the staff was the best! Having a personal butler was fabulous. He was always looking to help us with excursions, travel off the ship, and planning our dinners.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Everything was clean and as expected of the highest quality of a Celebrity cruise. We have sailed on other ships that we were disappointed with.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Wow! Upgrading to a Royal Suite was the best experience ever. Just look at this https://youtu.be/HhCwLZmhCpQ

Ship tip

Don't be afraid to spend extra money for an experience of a lifetime with your family.

Yes the Mediterranean is port intensive.

Thanks for sharing your cruise with us.

I totally get port fatigue! I thought I would love hopping to a new island every day, but it turns out I appreciate sea days spaced throughout the week. Otherwise the stops all run together, and you end up exhausted. Glad you had a great cruise otherwise!
