Review summary

This was the second leg of a back to back on the Mediterranean. Every side trip was a new adventure. We loved meeting the people and experiencing what each stop had to offer. It was interesting to watch history come alive and to learn how other countries are currently faring under their governments.

Embarkation

We did have to

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Everything we tried was very good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Although we did not participate, the ship had many activities to offer.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Disappointing this time. There was too much repetition from one cruise to the next. (we did a back to back) There also was not enough variety.

Children's Programs

did not take any children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Almost everyone was amazing. My only disappointment was the dining room hostess. She knew we liked sitting at group tables and she kept putting us at a table for two.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Well taken care of

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Would have like a bit more room. It is difficult to get into the closet section that is in front of the couch and there is limited walking space, so if my husband was standing in one area, I needed to wait for him to be finished before I could navigate the room

Ship tip

Check into non-Celebrity excursions. (We used Marriott last time) Touring with a busload of people can be trying. Most of the buses had very cramped seating. If you have long legs it is not good.ed

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

We stayed in Barcelona for a week before boarding the ship. Everything we saw and did was wonderful. We used a company called Viator for our trips.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

Mykonos, Greece

Absolutely charming. Our guide was an archeologist who gave an amazing tour. Very knowledgeable.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Loved viewing many of the ruins.

Santorini, Greece

Loved the houses perched up on the top of the mountain.

Rhodes, Greece

Nice surprise. A lot of people didn't think there was much to do, but we saw some lovely ruins and then walked around in the medieval city.

Valletta, Malta

Liked it, but it was a rough day there and we had a boat trip. So glad no one fell off the boat as the waves pounded the boat.
