Review summary

I will never get over how pissed off I am about what they did to what should have been the crown jewel of public spaces on the ship. Never again on Celebrity for me. There are too many other quality cruise lines to choose from.

Service and Staff

Terrific room steward

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
On this ship Celebrity destroyed what should havebeen the nicest public space on the ship. They cut the sky lounge in half lengthwise and made the port side luxury cabins and with the remaining half they mostly made it private access only for art auctions etc. No public access. When it was open to the public, there was no bar service and no waiters. Never again on Celebrity for me.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was very nice. Small, but no smaller than most.

Cherbourg, France

4 out of 5
Small town charm, but crowded in the summer

Le Havre (Paris), France

3 out of 5
This is a commercial port, with little to offer tourists. We took a bus into Hornfluer (nearby) which was charming but very crowded

Dover (London), England

2 out of 5
Not a lot here. They have an old castle to visit but the admission was very expensive.

Zeebrugge (Bruges), Belgium

5 out of 5
Brugges was beautiful, but get there early if you can as it gets really crowded

It pays to do a little research I guess, I’ve sailed on Solstice Class previously and thought the size of the Sky Lounge actually made it lack a little atmosphere as people are so spread out. Having read up on Reflection I’m aware that they’ve reduced the size, hopefully we don’t experience the service issues that you had (or lack of) there, however it seems a bit extreme to bin Celebrity only based on this!? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I guess as long as we are cruising we are happy. I dont understand the complaints on the Reflection.
