Review summary

As "they" say, this is a floating, five star hotel. We had many great crew staff-interaction positive experiences. The cruise line seems to hire good people. The main negative was a loud-mouthed, cigar smoking next door "neighbor" (no smoking is supposed to be allowed in rooms or verandas). It took the cruise line 3 days of our calls to stop the imbecile from his rule-breaking tobacco addiction obsession.

Long, expensive way from the airport. If you have time and an adventurous spirit, take a cab to the main train station "Termini", a train to Civitavecchia, and a long walk. Save a 100 bucks.

Given recent (2016) events, taxi operators are hurting. Negotiate a one-way taxi to Ephesus, then negotiate a taxi back to the port. Pay after arrival.
