Review summary

We are a family of 3 with a boy age 5, and comfort, convenience and service are the primary criteria when looking for a cruise. As frequent cruiser, the Reflection surprises us in three areas: The efficiency of their staff ( in comparison to Oasis of the Sea and the Disney Magic), the exceptional quality of on board dinning (both the regular dinning and specialty dinning) and the friendliness of the team. We are very well looked after throughout the voyage. The attention to details in the public areas, such as the special dinning areas, the lounges, the library, the hideaway are all very welcoming. The preferred docking (being the only cruise ship that docked at Mykonos) and the chilled tower and welcome back drink whilst re-boarding the ship at each port is a nice and welcomed treat especially after a long hot and often exhausting day on excursion. The only slight draw back of the ship though, are the size and cleanliness of its pools and the comfort of bed. In all, for family with children who is looking for a no fuzz, cultural, scenic and comfortable cruise, the Reflection and this specific itinerary would no doubt exceed your expectations.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Great variety, great quality (even the buffet with its various cooking stations provide good variety and good quality food); Qusine is a good experience for adults and children alike.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Seems to be highly varied, but with such a port intensive itinerary, one does not really have the time to spend on board

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The general programming are fine but the "Reflection" show is of a particularly high quality and standard. The performers are all highly committed.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Did not participate but saw one in progress, which looked to be fun

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
A gentleman from the "ilounge" came personally to the restaurant when we encountered a Wi Fi mal-function; All staff made particular effort in ensuring our child is cared for.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Good Attention given to the deco and ambiance of public areas

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very hard to be satisfied having stayed at the Loft Suite on board the Oasis. However, Cabin is clean and well sized.

Ship tip

The speciality restaurants are very var
