Review summary

The Reflection is a massive ship but rarely feels crowded.  This trip pulls into a new port, early in the morning and pulls-out around supper time, every day except 2.  Having the entire day to take tours and explore for hours is what we wanted to do in the Greek Islands.  The pace can be exhausting, but it is a good exhaustion.  The ship was clean, well organized, with an accommodating staff.  There were very few children on board.  Average age of passenger around 55-60.  Don't miss Rhodes....a formal tour is not necessary as the walled-in town is just a short walk off the ship. The Pompeii Archilogical site is huge!  Try to take the longest tour available to see the most. Spring temperatures were warm; expect summer months to be HOT!  Carry your umbrella, sunscreen and water everywhere. The ships house band was awesome, we danced almost every evening.

Our housekeeper did an amazing job without ever being noticed.

Ship Quality

The Reflection is a fairly new ship. It was not crazy fancy...but had lovely art works.

Cabin / Stateroom

The room was a lot larger than expected. Very nice.

Ship tip

If you divided the ship into 4's, our cabin was at the end of the 1st quarter. We had to look out the window to see if the ship was moving. It was so still....! No vibration, no engine noise and never a rocking feeling at all. Either the Mediterranean Sea was calm or this ship ran smooooooth.

Enjoyed walking through this walled-in town, amongst the vendors.

Santorini, Greece

Line for cable car was 1 1/2 hours (hot). Wished I had gone on a tour to OIA. In OIA is the picture of the blue/white dome that you see in every picture of Santorini.

Mykonos, Greece

Different from the other islands. It appears to be rich, spread-out and newer.

Naples, Italy

Went on a tour to Pompei.....not enough time to cover the ruins. Take the longest tour available, you will need it.
