Review summary

Good transpacific cruise, excellent price, excellent service, good captain and cruise director, good speakers. Did not like the lack of a painting instructor, a card room or a library.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Excellent, except for slowness of US immigration

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Terrific service and good food choices

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
My only complaint about the cruise was the lack of a watercolor painting teacher which we have had on previous Celebrity cruises. I think they might be doing away with that activity, which will certainly affect my booking with them again. Another disappointment: Celebrity seems to have given up libraries and card rooms.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Good

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Excellent, and everyone seemed happy with their job.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

Ship tip

Don’t go if you want a library, a card room, or a watercolor painting instructor.

Agree about libraries and card rooms. Sailed transatlantic on Edge, newest ship no library ( rack in Eden where books could be left to exchange) no card room (a lot of card playing in the Cafe Al Bacio but no bridge etc).
