Review summary

I had the opportunity to sail on the Millenium when it launched the first year and was impressed overall. On this recent trip, I was very disappointed in the food, the ship appearance and the staff. Staff was cordial, but not overly friendly. Our sheets were never changed and the towels were threadbare and ragged. I expected more from Celebrity Cruises.

Loved the Memories at Sea scrapbooking session. Hazel was a wonderful host for this activity and she was an energetic entertainer during the dance parties at night. The nightly shows were better than average.

Skagway is a charming little town that comes alive with tourism during the summer.

Absolutely LOVED the zip line. Soaring high above the pines we literally flew with two eagles. Again we were fortunate to have a wild life encounter on our excursion - this time up close to a young brown bear that walked right in front of our ATVs. This port was the best of the trip!
Don't Miss: ATV and Zip-line combination

Juneau, Alaska

We couldn't have asked for more spectacular weather on our Alaska cruise. The whale watching was breath taking. We actually saw two pods of whales and observed bubble-net feeding three times! On this same excursion we visited a bouy with sea lions playing "king of the hill" and got up close & personal with an eagle swooping for fish.
Don't Miss: Whale watching excursion

Pros: Ports of call and weather were fabulous! Naturalist on Celebrity was knowledgeable and helpful. Memories at Sea Scrapbooking provided great projects and a terrific instructor.

Cons: The food was just average. The beds were HARD - we relished the rocking of the ship to avoid pressure spots while sleeping.
