Review summary

Alchohol and gambeling are apparently part of every cruise. We would have prefered not to have it. 5 of the 7 general shows where wonderful, and actually the talent was outstanding. Two of the shows were light on their clothing and included sexual content. It would be probably rated PG-13 by the movie standard. It just would have been better if these were not apart of the general sessions. Otherwise it would be tough to find anything wrong with the whole thing.

Others will have better reviews. I went fishing and our boat of 5 caught 6 salmon on a bad fishing day. Fishing seems like the main attraction of this town, but there are tons of other options.

The White Pass train is probably one of the greatest highlights of the town. It is built into many of the shore excursions.

This is much closer to real Alaska than tourist Alaska. For us, that is exactly what we wanted. We enjoied the Kayaking and historical narration by our guide. Many enjoied the 90 second zipline ride.

We enjoied the state capital and the tram with a hike at the top of Mount Roberts.

Pros: The meals and the special treatment was wonderful.

Cons: The sexual dress and content in the general cruise show. Probably rated PG-13
