I am a professed =X= snob but the dining room food has gotten bad. I'm very sad about it and will give them one more chance (I'm already booked on another =X= cruise). If the food doesn't improve, I'm done. It's their service that saved the day for me. Great as usual. And this itinerary is my second favorite in all of the cruise I've taken (43). Alaska is still number one, but this is a close second.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
Our flight was delayed for four hours which had us landing 20 minutes before the deadline to be on board. I called Celebrity and the best they could do was allowing us to join the ship the next day. Others on our flight had Celebrity transfers and were guaranteed boarding. We hung out with them and were allowed to board. That was scary. Thanks for working with me Celebrity. I know you have rules, but a four-hour delay due to weather was not my fault.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
What has happened to Celebrity's food? I used to brag about how great their dining room food was. Not anymore. Everything was lackluster and boring. Many dishes looked like TV dinners. I very disappointed in the dining room food. And Sushi on 5 was a joke. Worst sushi I've ever had. And it took SO long to get the food. I recommend steering away from that restaurant. The buffet was what you'd expect from a buffet. It was good to very good. Tuscan Grill was awesome, but don't make me pay for good food! I'm not eating there every night.
Onboard Activities

Not my thing so I can't really give an accurate rating.
Entertainment

Nothing stood out but they were all good to very good.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
This is about the only thing that I can rate highly. The Celebrity service is always top notch for me.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
Don't get me wrong, the ship was clean and all, but the ship looks so dated and tired. I know it's going for a refurbishment in January. Not soon enough!
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Nothing to rate good or bad. The accommodations were adequate.
It is what it is, a bucket list stop. Once you've seen the blue domes, you're done. It was SO busy in Oia that it was not as enjoyable as I've experienced in the past.
