Cruising through the Panama canal is a marvelous experience that needs to be added to your bucket list.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Only one elevator was available which delayed wheel chair assistance
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
While we requested a dedicated table at dinner, i.e., having the same waiter and assistant waiter each night, we were seated at a different table with different table mates every night of the 15-day cruise. We were not satisfied with this procedure. Overall, the food and service was OK.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We did not use any of these activities because of mobility reasons. This ship needs a swimming pool that is accessible to someone with mobility problems. All the pools require walking up several steps.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
We appreciated the afternoon matinees.
Children's Programs
We had no children with us
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Most did a fine job but are room steward did not always meet our requests, e.g., always having ice available.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
The ship needs some work, our balcony showed lots of rust and wear.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
This is an accessible room but it was not large enough to easily contain a scooter and walker. On other cruise lines, accessible cabins were much larger.
