Review summary

Great first cruise.  Destination in Alaska was awesome and therefore really made the trip for us.  Fantastic scenery.  Staff on board were also great, especially in the Luminae restaurant which we had access to through the room.  Weather was very good except for two days that rained but both of those days were actually not so important to the overall trip.  7 days was enough for us though on this first cruise.

Ship tip

We booked two excursions before traveling and not through Celebrity itself. Both were excellent. We also booked one additional tour for our two teenagers on board and that was also really good. But have to say that I think booking beforehand was a good idea.

Celebrity does a decent job. Remember every ship and every cruise is different.
