Review summary

The Celebrity Infinity had a great itinerary except for Victoria, BC. (Only got a night visit, so hard to see the beauty) All areas of the ship were well maintained, good shows and lectures, food services better in dining room than on top deck. 2 level library was best I've seen on a ship. Crew and wait staff were very friendly. Deck chairs were always easy to locate and had access to nice towels and blankets. Hot chocolate was served upon return to ship each day.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining room staff were great and always remembered my preferences. The open dining on top sometimes ran short even early in the evening, especially of salad items like tomatoes, cukes; dressing bottles often were messy to handle.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were ordinary, except for the juggler. The naturalist on board was very enlightening with his lectures on animals found in Alaska.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Dining room staff made each person at our table feel special.

Cabin / Stateroom

Large shower with preset water worked well; great storage in bathroom. TV system worked well; easy to call other rooms; key cards always worked.

Ports of call

Juneau, Alaska

Our hike around Mendenhall was excellent, and strenuous. Luckily there were 2 guides so we were split into 2 groups. The other group got all the quarreling young siblings. We got great views of Mendenhall, but didn't get to walk on the glacier.
Don't Miss: Mendenhall

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
The train through the mountains was great.
Don't Miss: white pass

Victoria, British Columbia

3 out of 5
It would be best to be in Victoria during daylight. I would like to go back.

Ketchikan, Alaska

We took the land and sea tour; would have liked a little longer at the totem museum, but had a great guide in all 3 parts of the tour. We got close up views of eagles.

Pros: Cabin well designed with adequate storage.

Cons: no coin laundry available on ship
